This set of Moutai drinkware doubles as an art piece, perfect for displaying on its own as well as adding a traditional flair to the dining table. Its designs include work from 5 different famous artists and pay homage to the Song Dynasty, combining the tradition of "floating wine cups" with its legacy of excellence in porcelain craftmanship.
Each of the 5 shot glasses are named after one of the Five Famous Kilns of the Song Dynasty. With a different master in porcelain craft supervising each design, they all bear unique characteristics inspired by their namesake. The name of each cup is inlaid in bronze at their base—Ru, Guan, Ge, Jun, and Ding.
These cups attach magnetically onto a sculpted metal tree branch, calling back the image of "floating wine cups" along with the classical Chinese motifs of peach blossoms and magpies. The cups are paired with a porcelain gourd-shaped decanter decorated with gold foil, and set upon a wooden base.
